Ollantaytambo is characterized for being within Wiracocha's route that was discovered by Maria Sholten and in-depth studies done by Carlos Milla Villena; it was exposed in his work "Genesis of the Andean Culture" that in the astronomic observatory of Inkamisana in Ollantaytambo, You can see a few worn out brackets on the wall, in the most important days of the year thanks to the presence of the Sun, a game of shades which in the equinoxes project the silhouette of a face which appears there being insinuated the figure of a "musical Man who touches the life with a wind instrument, "the quena."
