THE PLACE WHERE I LIVE (VII)

I live in Lima, which is a city on the coast of Peru. It has a population of about eight million people and it is the most populated city in Peru. It’s a great place, and it’s nice for going shopping. There are a lot of interesting places to visit such as squares, churches, museums, and relaxing beaches; to the south you can find the best beaches where you can have a good time with family or friends; you can go for a refreshing swim there, listen to your favourite music on your potable radio, eat some barbacue, smoke a nice cigar, have a cold beer, and obviously have a great suntan. The weather here doesn’t change much and it’s very different from the sierra or what you might call the highlands; we have a great summer, but the winter here is well , let’s say, difficult espcially for most elder people. Lima is famous for its Cebiche which is a delicious dish made of fish. There are lots of atractions here where you can have a great time; and at the same time it’s a good place to study because you can find the best and most updated universities in all the country. But I think the best things about Lima are the Shopping centres where you can find everything around here and when I say everything it really is that, and you can also find the best restaurants which serve not only Peruvian, but also international food.
This is my place, now tell me about yours...

Cusco is a special place that demanded your attention. It`s great for walking around, there are a lot stone street, churches, palaces, etc. the technique that was employed to build it`s still a mystery as to how the Inca Managed to move the large rocks that they used to construct.

The weather in here can be drying from June at August, but other month can be very wet and sometime rains for days so there are more tourists in the winter than summer

Cusco is famous for to have many old building. Machupicchu is the biggest tourist attraction of this city. Many tourists arrive on June. They can find a lot good restaurant, bar, hotel, etc. They arrive to wait for the train to Aguas Calientes and Machupicchu from Ollantaytambo.
I think the best thing about Cusco is the people and their costumer, they are very friendly; and you can find people from every country. Cusco has a lot mystery history that is the main reason why I like living here.

  8. I´m from Cusco it´s located in the southwest of Peru. It has a population of about half a million people and it´s the most important touristic destination of Peru.
it´s one of the most beautiful cities in the world. when you walk on its streets you can feel the energy coming from the old buildings that were built by the INKAS and then taken by the spanish. the churches are a great example of that.
here we have only two seasons; the rainy season is when the city gets green because all the plants flourish during that time. the dry season is when the weather gets really cold, but you can see the most impresive blue sky over your head.
cusco has many dishes that you can try for example the "CHIRI UCHU" which is made of different kinds of meat.
near cusco you can see many touristic atractions like the amazing SACCSAYHUAMAN and the enigmatic QENQO.
finally Cusco has many celebrations like carnivals, the corpus cristi and others but the most important is the inti raymi which is a representation of an old ceremony that took place during the Incan empire.

  9. My last holiday
I traveled to Cutervo – Cajamarca two years ago, I went to see my father whit my uncle and my sister by car.
We stayed in my father’s house, because he has a house there, I was there for two weeks, so we wanted to do a lot of things, but the weather was bad, it’s cloudy and rain, but when it was sunny we went to meet other cites: I met the square, the church, and I went to ride a horse, other day we stayed In the house, we cooked together.
In the night we watched TV. Even although we had a good time, because we didn’t have any problems.

The first day of the week is but dangerous because meny people shooped and they sold many products, the thing in Puno are but cheap than in the Cusco. We went to a fantastic seafoot restaurant I did not get used to Puno`s climate very much but if he foot that my aunt was cooking was liked.
