The feast of the Virgin of Nativity takes place on September 7, 8, and 9 in Cusco.
It is one of the biggest celebration that we, Cusquenian people, have in our city; many people visit Almudena square where the procession takes place. It is celebrated with folk dances of Cusco and Puno; there are over 20 dances including morenada , the diablada , Qapaq Qolla, etc... This holiday is characterized by over 1200 believers.
