New Year’s festival

Every January first we celebrate this holiday in Peru. Our traditions are wearing yellow clothes; at midnight on December thirty first we eat twelve grapes, ask for some wishes for the new year, and drink champagne; besides that many people enjoy the fireworks. At noon, on the first of January, we have our typical dish ´lechón` (A kind of baked pork). Many people stay at home and get together with their families.

Festival Del año nuevo

En Perú se festeja cada primero de enero. Nuestra tradición es usar ropa amarilla .A la medianoche del 31 de diciembre nosotros comemos 12 uvas y tomamos champagne además muchas personas disfrutan de lo juegos artifiales.El primero de enero, al mediodía se come lechón plato típico. Muchas personas permanecen en casa con sus familias.
